Religious Béguinage - Part of UWH

The Beguinage of Turnhout is no exact Foundation date known, but she was probably founded in the 13th century.

The gatehouse and the Early Gothic oblong tree lined square characterize this Beguinage.

There is a well preserved Baroque church, infirmary and houses from the 16th and 17th centuries.
